Grants for the Arts Funding Success!

We are thrilled to announce that our most recent project will be funded by Arts Council England! This funding will enable us to go ahead with some very exciting activities over the next few months and we can’t wait to tell you about it. Along with touring our show Eden to London, York and Bradford, we’ll be offering free creative workshops to explore the themes of the show. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll be up to..

Getting TechnicalIMG_0985
Working with a designer we’ll significantly advance our model of touring technology, wherein all tech elements are controlled by the performers as a seamless part of the performance aesthetic. We will focus on testing & refining the technology alongside redeveloping the choreography of our show Eden enabling the performers’ movements to operate light & sound through sensors.

Community Engagement
We will continue our work with grassroots organisations and our venue partners, engaging audiences who currently have least access to the arts. Groups effected by Eden’s subject matter (including social isolation, discrimination) will benefit from participation in one of five creative workshops linked directly to the themes of Eden and be supported to access a performance at their local venue, followed by a post-show discussion around the issues raised.

Arts and Wellbeing
We will continue to discover skills in movement therapy, providing health benefits through the arts.
